The Insights portal is your central hub to manage your Guest WiFi login journeys for customers and to view your data insights.

From configuring your login journey to reviewing performance reports, you'll find everything you need to get up and running with the platform.

Log in process

If you're new to Wireless Social, this section guides you through the first-time login process so you can start using the platform.

Configure the login journey

Manage and build your Guest WiFi from the Configure WiFi menu. The following sections provide a breakdown of the key features available to create a unique Guest WiFi login experience for your customers. Learn how to create a login journey with your own branding, tailor it to your marketing calendar using decision nodes, and get the most out of micro surveys and more.

Manage your login journey

Manage and customise your Guest WiFi login journeys with the following articles:

Decision nodes

Decision nodes are a useful tool to determine which path your customer follows based on certain conditions such as date range or login counts.

A common example is using decision nodes to display a Valentine’s Day content image and redirect URL between 1 February and 14 February, which then automatically reverts to your standard journey on 15 February.

URL redirects

A redirect is the URL your guests are sent to after connecting to your guest WiFi. You can use a universal redirect or set up multiple redirects using decision nodes based on conditions such as date range or venue.

Survey questions

Adding survey questions in your login journey is an effective way to collect information from guests as they connect to your WiFi. The support article below walks you through creating your survey and adding it into your login journey.

Content images

Content images are a great way to promote offers, particularly during seasonal periods like Valentine's Day, or big events, such as the World Cup.

You can add them to your login page before the guest has completed the login journey. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, and GIF if you want to display multiple promotions in a carousel.

Decision nodes allow you to schedule different content images for specific date ranges in line with your marketing calendar. They can also be used to display different images across venue groups or individual locations.

Understand notifications

Notifications in Insights alert you to potential issues across your venues, such as missing WiFi logins, gaps in Presence data, or data sync errors.

This makes it easier to quickly identify, investigate, and resolve problems. You’ll have a central view of active and snoozed alerts, along with detailed information to help monitor system health and maintain reliable data flow.

Reports

Reports provide a complete view of your available data, helping you understand performance, customer behaviour, and venue activity at a glance.

Standard reports

A number of ready-made reports are available as standard. From tracking WiFi usage and marketing engagement over time, to understanding who your customers are and how often they return.
