Guest WiFi configuration
To configure the Guest WiFi on your Juniper Mist access points, first log in to your to your Juniper Mist controller and follow the steps below:
From the left-hand menu, select Organization and then WLAN Templates.
Select an existing WLAN template or create a new one by selecting Create Template from the right.
Within the WLANs section, select the SSID you want to edit or create a new network by clicking Add WLAN. Configure with the below:
SSID: e.g. _Venue Name Guest WiFi
WLAN Status: Enabled
Radio Band: Disable 6 GHz
Security type: Open Access
Within the Guest Portal section select Forward to external portal and enter the below details:
Portal URL: Choose the link relevant to the venue location.
Allowed Hostnames: add all of the following non-wildcard walled garden domains separated by a comma. There may also be other relevant regional accounts if your venue is outside of the UK or US that you will need to add.
API Secret: Make a note of your API Secret generated by the mist controller.
If you have created a new SSID, this will generate once you have saved your SSID configuration settings.
⚠️ Important: you will need to send your API Secret to the Support team.
Bypass guest/external portal in case of exception: Disable.
Click Save to complete.

To complete the configuration of your guest network, please send the following details to the Support team:
Access Point MAC addresses.
API Secret.
