Guest WiFi configuration
To configure the Guest WiFi, login to your Nebula Control Centre, then follow each of the sections below in order.
Guest SSID Configuration
If you already have a guest network created, follow these steps:
Go to SSID Advanced settings. There are two ways to do this:
From the WiFi SSID settings page you can click the Edit option under the SSID Advanced settings.
Or go to Configure, then Access Points and then SSID advanced settings and then select the guest network from the available dropdown list.
Now go the RADIUS server set up section.
If you want to set up a new guest SSID, follow these steps:
Go to Configure, then WiFi SSID settings and then click Add SSID network. A new SSID will be created. Configure with the following settings:
Name: SSID Name e.g. _Venue Name Guest WiFi.
Enabled: Enabled.
Guest Network: Enabled.
Click Save.
Now click the Edit option under the SSID Advanced settings. Then continue to the next section.
RADIUS server set up
From within the SSID advanced settings, configure with the following:
Under Network Access:
Security options: Open.
Sign-in method: Sign-on with: My RADIUS server.
Under RADIUS Server enter the following:
Host: 18.168.231.87
Port: 1812
Secret: Contact the Support team.
Click Add a server and add:
Host: 18.134.223.213
Port: 1812
Secret: Contact the Support team.
Select RADIUS accounting enabled from the RADIUS accounting drop down and then configure with:
Host: 18.168.231.87
Port: 1813
Secret: Contact the Support team.
click Add a server and add:
Host: 18.134.223.213
Port: 1813
Secret: Contact the Support team.
Captive portal set up
To configure the captive portal settings, follow the steps below:
Under the Captive Portal advanced setting section, configure with the following:
Walled garden: Enable.
Within the Walled Garden ranges field, add the following walled garden domains. There may also be other relevant regional accounts if your venue is outside of the UK or US that you will need to add.
Simultaneous login limit: Unlimited.
Strict Policy: Block all access until sign-on.
β οΈ Important: ZyXEL have a 20 entry domain limit. You will need to replace any existing entries with those listed in our Walled Garden list.
Click on Save.
Now go to Configure, then select Captive portal customization.
From the SSID dropdown, choose your guest network, then configure with the below settings:
Under External captive portal URL select:
Use URL: Enabled
URL: enter one of the below URLs based on your venue region:
Under Captive portal behaviour select:
After the captive portal page where the user should go?: To promotional URL: enter one of the below URLs based on your venue region:
Click Save to finish.
