Guest WiFi configuration
To configure the Guest WiFi via your Omada follow each of the sections below in order.
WLAN set up
Login and launch your Omada controller, and then select the site that you want to configure.
On the left-hand menu options, select Settings at the bottom of the screen.
Click Wireless Networks and then click WLAN.
Click Create New Wireless Network and configure your guest network with the following settings:
Network Name (SSID): e.g _Wireless Social Guest WiFi.
Guest Network: Enabled.
Security: None.
Click Apply to save.
RADIUS server set up
You will now need to configure the RADIUS server details. Follow the steps below:
From the left-hand menu, click Settings and select Profiles then RADIUS Profile.
Click Create New RADIUS Profile and configure with:
Name: WS RADIUS
Authentication Server 1:
Authentication Server IP: 18.168.231.87.
Authentication Port: 1812.
Authentication Password: Please contact Support.
RADIUS Accounting: Enable.
Interim Update: Enable.
Interim Update Interval: 120.
Accounting Server 1:
Accounting Server IP: 18.168.231.87.
Accounting Port: 1813.
Accounting Password: Please contact Support.
Click Save.
Portal set up
Follow the steps below to complete the portal set up:
From the left-hand menu, click Settings, select Authentication and then click Portal.
On the Portal tab, click Create New Portal and configure with:
Portal Name: WS GuestWiFi.
Portal: Enable.
SSID & Network: Select the network you have created (e.g. _Wireless Social Guest WiFi).
Authentication Type: RADIUS Server.
Authentication Timeout: 8 Hours.
RADIUS Profile: Select the RADIUS Profile created earlier - e.g WS RADIUS.
NAS ID: WS GuestWiFi.
Authentication Mode: PAP.
Portal Customisation: External Web Portal:
HTTPS Redirection: Disabled.
Landing Page: The Promotional URL:
Click Apply to save.
Click on the Access Control tab at the top of the screen.
Enable the Pre-Authentication Access option and click Add to add all of the following walled garden domains. There may also be other relevant regional accounts if your venue is outside of the UK or US that you will need to add.
To add an entry select URL from the drop down, then enter the domain - e.g. wireless-social.com and click Save. Repeat for all of the domains listed.
Click Apply at the bottom of the screen to save the settings.
