Guest WiFi configuration
To configure the Guest WiFi on your Ruckus Unleashed hardware, first log in to your Ruckus Unleashed interface, then follow each of the sections below in order.
RADIUS set up
To configure your RADIUS servers, follow the steps below:
Click the arrow beside the Admin & Services header and then choose Services and AAA Servers from the left-hand menu.
Under Authentication Servers click the Create New link. Configure with the following:
Name: guestwifi.
Type: RADIUS.
Auth Method: PAP.
Backup RADIUS: Enabled.
Under First Server, configure with the following:
IP Address: 18.168.231.87.
Port: 1812.
Shared Secret: Please contact Support.
Confirm Secret: Please contact Support.
⚠️ Important: Ensure that there are no spaces before and after the RADIUS secret.
Under Second Server, configure with the following:
IP Address: 18.134.223.213.
Port: 1812.
Shared Secret: Please contact Support.
Confirm Secret: Please contact Support.

Click OK to Save.
Hotspot and walled garden set up
To configure the guest hotspot, follow the steps below:
Click on Hotspot Services on the left-hand menu. Under Hotspot Servers click the Create New link.
On the General tab configure with:
Name: guestwifi.
Login Page:
Start Page: redirect to the following URL:
Session Timeout: 1440 minutes.
Grace Period: 30 minutes.
Intrusion Prevention: Disabled.
On the Authentication tab configure with:
Authentication Server: guestwifi.
Isolate wireless client traffic from other clients on the same AP: Enabled.
On the Walled Garden tab, you will need to add multiple entries. For each of the walled garden domains, click Create New and enter the domain in the Destination Address field. There may also be other relevant regional accounts if your venue is outside of the UK or US that you will need to add.
Click OK to save.
WiFi Network set up
To configure your Guest WiFi network, follow the steps below:
Click the arrow beside the WiFi Networks header and then click the Create button. Configure with the following:
Name: e.g. _Venue name Guest WiFi - or whatever you wish.
Usage Type: Hotspot Service.
Hotspot Services: guestwifi.
Click on the Show advanced configuration link and under the Others tab configure with the following:
Inactivity Timeout: 30 minutes.
Click OK to Save.
SSH Commands
To complete the set up you will need to SSH into the Unleashed Master AP and type the commands below, one line at a time.

📌 Note: if you have used a different network name then replace "_Venue name Guest WiFi" with your chosen network name.
