Configure your Ruckus One managed access points

User guide for configuring your Ruckus One managed access points. This hardware was previously known as Ruckus Cloud.

⚠️ Important: To complete the configuration you will need to send your Integration Key to Wireless Social Support.

To configure your Guest WiFi, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Ruckus One account.

  2. Via the left-hand menu click Wi-Fi and then Wi-Fi Networks List.

  3. Click on Add Wi-Fi Network in the top right of the screen and configure with:

    • Network name: e.g. _Wireless Social Guest WiFi.

    • Network Type: Captive Portal.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Under Portal Type select 3rd Party Captive Portal (WISPr).

  6. Click Next.

  7. Now on the Settings screen enter the following:

  8. In the Walled Garden section, add all of the following walled garden domains. There may also be other relevant regional accounts if your venue is outside of the UK or US that you will need to add.

  9. Under the Authentication Service section, there is an Authentication Server dropdown, click Add Server. In the menu that appears enter the following settings:

    • Profile Name: WS RADIUS.

    • Primary Server:

      • IP Address: 18.168.231.87.

      • Port: 1812.

      • Shared Secret: Please contact Support.

        • ⚠️ Important: Ensure that there are no spaces before and after the RADIUS secret.

  10. On the same menu, click Add Secondary Server and enter the following:

    • Secondary Server

      • IP Address: 18.134.223.213.

      • Port: 1812.

      • Shared Secret: Please contact Support.

        • ⚠️ Important: Ensure that there are no spaces before and after the RADIUS secret.

  11. Click Add.

  12. Ensure the Accounting Service is toggled to Disabled.

  13. Click Next.

  14. To apply this configuration to your venue or venues, click the relevant tick box or boxes and ensure that the Activated toggle is enabled.

  15. Click Next. You will see a summary of the configuration.

  16. Click Add to finish.
