⚠️ Important: To proceed with this setup, ensure you are using one of the following supported models: 2862, 3220, 2926, 2952, 2765, 2865, 2866, 2927, 2962, or the 3910 series, running firmware version 3.9.0 or later.
Guest WiFi configuration
To configure the Guest WiFi on your Draytek Vigor router, first log in to your Draytek Web Interface and follow the steps below:
From the left hand menu, click Hotspot Web Portal and then Profile Setup.
Click an available Index, i.e. 1 and configure with:
Enable this profile: Yes.
Portal Method: External Server.
Captive Portal URL: Choose the relevant URL below for the venue location.
Redirection URL: http://portal.draytek.com
Authentication Method: Click External RADIUS Server and set:
Enable: Yes.
Server IP Address: 18.168.231.87
Destination Port: 1812
Shared Secret: Contact Support to request the secret
Confirm Shared Secret: same as above.
Enable Accounting: Yes.
Accounting Port: 1813
Click Ok to save.
MAC Address Format: AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF.
Click Save and Next.
Now, click the Dest Domain tab and add all of the following wildcard walled garden domains, one per index. There may also be other relevant regional accounts if your venue is outside of the UK or US that you will need to add.
Click Save and Next then configure with:
Expired Time After Activation: 0 days 6 hours 0 min - or whatever you wish.
HTTPS Redirection: No.
Captive Portal Detection: Yes.
Landing Page After Authentication: Choose the relevant URL below for the venue location.
Applied Interfaces: Select which SSID you wish to enable the service on.
Click Finish to save.
⚠️ Important: Please ensure you reboot the router before continuing as this is a pre-requisite for the setting to apply.
