Create a benchmarking report

Use a benchmarking report to compare venue performance across key metrics.

⚠️ Important: This is a custom report available to Wireless Social Standard customers only with Insights Plus.

Benchmarking reports let you compare WiFi performance across your venues or against other operators. Build your report by adding ranking widgets to display the comparison data you need.

Create a benchmarking report

To create a benchmarking report:

  1. Click Custom Reports from the left menu.

  2. Select New Report.

  3. Complete the form fields.

    • Title.

    • Folder (optional).

    • Access Group.

  4. Click Save.

  5. In the top‑right corner, click the Edit icon to customise the report.

Add a ranking widget

Use a ranking widget to build the benchmark comparison within your report.

  1. Click Add widget and select Ranking.

  2. Choose your filters.

    • Comparison: Rank against your own venue or against other operators.

    • Customise period: Select the period you want the report to use.

    • Customise venues or Venue group: Choose the venue or group to include.

    • Title: Enter a title for the widget.

  3. Click OK to add the widget to the report.

  4. Once you have built your report, click Save in the top-right corner.

🤓 Tip: To duplicate a widget, click the Clone widget icon and customise your filters as needed.

🤓 Tip: The ranking widget defaults to comparing against Opt‑in rate. You can update this to another data point after the widget is created.

Edit a benchmark report

To edit a benchmarking report:

  1. Click Custom Reports from the left menu.

  2. Click the folder name if you have one, then click your chosen benchmarking report.

  3. In the top‑right corner, click the Edit icon to customise the report.

  4. To edit a widget, click the Edit icon in the top-right corner of the widget.

  5. Once you have made the necessary changes, click OK.

  6. Click Save in the top-right corner.

Delete a widget

To delete a widget:

  1. Click Custom Reports from the left menu.

  2. Click the folder name if you have one, then click the benchmarking report you want to edit.

  3. In the top‑right corner, click the Edit icon to customise the report.

  4. To delete a widget, click the Delete icon in the top-right corner of the widget.

  5. Click Save in the top-right corner to apply the change.
