GL.iNet Sensor.
Micro USB cable.
USB power plug.
Sensor set up
Follow the below steps to connect your sensors:
π€ Tip: For best performance place your sensor or sensors in public areas.
Connect Ethernet Cable to Sensor.
Plug one end of the ethernet cable into the WAN port on the sensor.
β οΈ Important: Make sure you avoid pressing the physical reset button on the device. Long pressing the reset button causes the device to factory reset.
Connect Power Cable to Sensor
Plug the USB power cable into the Power port.
Connect Ethernet Cable to Internet Source.
Plug the other end of the ethernet cable into any Ethernet port on your existing internet connection.
This could be a router, or a network port - something that will provide an internet connection.
Connect Power Cable to Power Source.
Use a USB power plug or the Mikrotik USB port.
Check your connection
Once connected the sensor will display 3 lights:
π’ Green - steady green light for power.
π’ Green - blinking green middle sensor when sending data to our servers.
π΄ Red - blinking red light for internet connectivity.
π€ Tip: If all three LED lights are active then the sensor is working.
Wait around 3 minutes for the sensor to be ready to collect data and contact the Support team to confirm the set up.
